From the roof

A couple of photos from the roof. Because the buildings are four levels or less, there is no jagged skyline in Al Ain. There are some interesting rocky outcrops near where I live that look interesting to explore.

Hi Jules
The gorgeous sunsets look familiar - pleased you made it safely and sounds like a social group you are working with!
Take care - Lyn

Thanks! Yes, it's lovely and a lot quieter and easier than Qatar.

You know me, the social organiser :) Miss you being here Lyn.

Will post more photos soon.

Hi Keri and Sam.
Thanks for the comments. Yep it is the true light, a bit dusty. Will have to post photos here as Flickr is blocked.
It sure is social around here, very much wonderful and familiar. We're getting set up, shopping for the stuff we need so sharing heaps.
We plan to celebrate surviving the first week Thursday night!
